On Thursday, February 10th, Kate Kruk, Director of Community Engagement for Livingston Energy Group testified at the New York State Assembly’s Hearing on the status of EV charging station development in the State.
She highlighted the opportunity to create clean energy jobs and stimulate local economies by investing in EV Charging Station infrastructure that prioritizes the use of New York products and services. Additionally, she pointed out that to deploy charging network infrastructure faster the state needs to provide adequate funding incentives that take into consideration the local economic benefits from those awards, support partnerships between NY innovators and utility companies and address customer concerns surrounding demand charges associated with DCFC charging stations.
