This morning, the American automaker General Motors, became the most recent manufacturer to announced that it planning on switching production to only electric vehicles in the coming years. This will begin with two new all-electric models in 2020, with at least 18 more released by 2023.
The company's Head of Product, Mark Reuss, stated "General Motors believes the future is all-electric." With many countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Norway, and the Netherlands planning on banning the sale of gas and diesel cars, manufacturers are taking proactive measures to ensure their products have a place in the fast coming all-electric markets.
